GoodPass Offer Rules of Use

Last updated: 01/01/2026

Offer Rules of Use Table of Contents

These Offer Rules of Use (“Rules”) apply to offers available through the GoodPass app (“GoodPass”). These Rules are in addition to (1) the specific terms shown on each offer (“Offer Terms”) and (2) the GoodPass Terms of Use. If there’s a conflict, the Offer Terms control for that specific offer.

Privacy Policy Table of Contents

1) General Rules

  • Offers are for personal use and are non-transferable unless the Offer Terms explicitly say otherwise.

  • Unless an offer explicitly states it can be combined, offers are not valid with other discounts, promotions, coupons, or specials (“no stacking”).

  • Each offer may have limits (single-use, daily limits, time windows, group size limits, etc.). Limits will be shown in the offer details where applicable.

2) Redemption and the 5-Minute Timer

To redeem an offer in person, you must follow the in-app redemption steps and show the active redemption screen to the Merchant within 5 minutes of starting redemption.

  • 5-minute window: Once you start redeeming an offer, a 5-minute timer begins. The offer must be presented to the Merchant during this time.

  • Expired timer: If the timer expires before the Merchant sees the redemption screen, the redemption may be treated as used and you may not be refunded or able to reuse the offer.

  • Complete redemption at the counter: Merchants may require you to redeem before payment is finalized. Always follow the Merchant’s instructions at checkout.

3) Who Can Use an Offer (1 Person, 2 People, or Groups)

Offer eligibility and party size vary by offer. The Offer Terms will specify whether the offer is intended for one person, two people, or a group activity.

  • Single-person offers: Many offers may be redeemed by one member for their own purchase (unless the Offer Terms say otherwise).

  • Two-person offers (including BOGO): Some offers are designed for two people (for example, buy-one-get-one-free offers). Unless the Offer Terms state otherwise, these are redeemed in a single transaction and typically require the qualifying purchase to be made at the same time.

  • Group offers (activities and experiences): Some offers apply to groups (for example, rafting or other group activities). These offers may have additional requirements such as group size minimums/maximums, reservations, waivers, scheduling restrictions, and/or one offer per booking. Always check the Offer Terms and the Merchant’s booking policies.

Important: “Who can use it” and “how many people it covers” is controlled by the Offer Terms. If an offer does not clearly state party size, assume it applies to one member and contact the Merchant (or Support) before redeeming.

4) Offer Types and Use Limits

GoodPass offers may appear as one of the following types. The Offer Terms always control if they differ from the descriptions below.

A) Single Use Offers

  • Single Use offers are generally redeemable one time per member within a 365-day period (or the period stated in the Offer Terms).

  • Once redeemed, they cannot be used again until the stated eligibility period resets (if applicable).

B) Continual Offers

  • Continual offers are generally redeemable once per day per member (or as stated in the Offer Terms).

  • “Day” may be based on local time and may reset daily.

C) Limited Time Offers

  • Limited Time offers are available only during a defined promotional window (for example, a day, weekend, week, month, or other stated period).

  • A Limited Time offer may be redeemable once or multiple times during the promotional period depending on what the Merchant sets in the Offer Terms.

D) Special Offers (Including Birthday Specials)

  • Special offers are usually tied to a special event or occasion (commonly birthday offers).

  • Birthday specials may be available for redemption on a member’s birthday day, week, or month depending on the Offer Terms.

Most Special offers are single-use during the defined birthday window, but some Merchants may allow multiple uses if stated in the Offer Terms.

5) Age-Restricted Offers (21+)

GoodPass may include offers that involve alcohol or cannabis. These offers are restricted to users who are 21 years of age or older.

  • Visibility: Alcohol/cannabis offers are not viewable to users under 21 based on the birthdate associated with the account.

  • Verification: Merchants may require valid government-issued photo ID to redeem age-restricted offers.

  • Compliance: You agree not to attempt to access or redeem age-restricted offers if you are under 21. Misuse may result in suspension or termination.

6) Exclusions, Expiration, and Availability

  • Offers may have exclusions (items, days, times, holidays, minimum purchase amounts, reservations required, etc.). Always check the Offer Terms.

  • Offers may be changed, paused, or removed by the Merchant at any time.

  • Merchants control their own inventory, pricing, hours, staffing, and participation.

7) Misuse and Fraud

Offers are void if you misuse them, including:

  • attempting to redeem more than allowed,

  • manipulating or bypassing the 5-minute timer,

  • using altered screenshots or copied codes,

  • reselling, transferring, or improperly sharing offers.

GoodPass may suspend or terminate accounts for misuse.

8) Problems at the Counter

If a Merchant refuses an offer:

  • Confirm you are following the Offer Terms and these Rules.

  • If it isn’t resolved, contact Support@thegoodpass.com with the Merchant name, offer name, date/time, and what happened.
