Privacy Policy Table of Contents

This Privacy Policy explains how GoodPass LLC (“GoodPass,” “we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our websites, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

1) Information We Collect

A. Information you provide

  • Account information: name, email, password (stored as a secure hash), birthdate, and (if collected) gender.

  • Subscription and billing information: subscription status, plan type, renewal dates, payment confirmation, and limited payment-related identifiers. We do not store full credit/debit card numbers; payments are processed by Stripe.

  • Support communications: information you provide if you contact support (e.g., emails and related details).

B. Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data: device type, operating system, app version, IP address, identifiers, and diagnostic logs.

  • Analytics events: screens viewed, features used, offer views, saves, and redemption-related events (to operate and improve the Service).

C. Precise location information (GPS)

If you enable location permissions, we collect precise GPS location to show relevant offers near you and improve the experience. The timing and frequency of location collection depends on your device permission settings (for example, “While Using the App” versus “Always,” if available).

D. Information for Merchants and Fundraisers (Business Users)

If you are a Merchant or Fundraiser (or a representative of a Merchant or Fundraiser) and you use our partner tools, create an account, or communicate with us in a business capacity, we may collect and process additional information, including:

  • Business contact information: your name, business name, business email address, business phone number, and role/title.

  • Account and access information: login identifiers, account permissions/roles, and security/audit logs (for example, sign-in events).

  • Operational information: information you provide when creating or managing offers, business locations, hours, fundraiser details, and communications with our support team.

Aggregated reporting only: Our Merchant and Fundraiser dashboards do not provide access to member-level personal data such as a member’s name, email address, or phone number. Dashboards may display aggregated insights to help partners understand performance (for example, redemption totals and high-level demographic ranges or geographic summaries such as zip-level reporting).

2) How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Create and manage your account.

  • Provide the Service, including showing relevant offers and enabling redemptions.

  • Process subscriptions and payments.

  • Verify eligibility and enforce age restrictions (including 21+ restrictions where applicable).

  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

  • Improve and analyze the Service (performance, debugging, product decisions).

  • Communicate with you about service-related messages (e.g., account notices, subscription updates).

  • For business users (Merchants/Fundraisers): onboard partners, manage partner accounts, provide support, operate partner dashboards, and deliver aggregated reporting/insights.

3) SMS (Text Messages)

We do not currently send SMS messages. If we add SMS in the future (for things like verification and/or marketing), we will:

  • Obtain any required consent before sending marketing texts,

  • Provide opt-out instructions (e.g., replying “STOP”), and

  • Update this Privacy Policy to reflect the change.

4) How We Share Information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers that help us run the Service (e.g., hosting, analytics, crash reporting, customer support tools).

  • Stripe for payment processing and subscription management.

  • Merchants, only as needed to support redemptions and prevent abuse (for example, confirmation that a redemption occurred or that a membership is active at the time of redemption). We do not share your full payment details with Merchants.

  • Fundraisers (aggregated): we may share aggregated attribution and impact reporting with fundraisers (for example, total memberships attributed and contribution totals), and aggregated reporting/insights with merchants and fundraisers where applicable.

  • Legal and safety: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights, safety, and security of GoodPass, our users, or others.

  • Business transfers: if we’re involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information in the traditional sense.
